Hey there Jimco

I don't get on here much. I love the old RVs and think the stories of those rebuilding and using them are great. I'm still overseas and won't be using mine until next year it seems if the good Lord is willing. I wish that I could post some info on mine. I've used it once since I bought it and it was great. I lost all my pics of that trip when the computer here had a tragic event. When I get back I want to update it a little but not change it. For many years back then,…

I lost all my pics of that trip when the computer here had a tragic event. When I get back I want to update it a little but not change it. For many years back then, I would see them on the road and always thought they were the best looking coaches out there. Never thought I would own one. New paint and some carpet and mine will be pretty much like new. Thanks for your work to make a great site to preserve the old RVs. It might never be mainstream news or a big event to the masses but to many of us, it's really a great thing you're doing here.

Randall,if you turn on the dash A/C with the ignition key on the radiator fans should come on.That's how it usually works with GM cars and trucks. This would check the relay. If you put your hand on it you should be able to feel it click.

David,I looked around on the web and saw a sensor for the factory radiator fan system. It's in the intake manifold by the thermostat I think and has two wires. There is also a relay.

Thanks Tony and Joy..Where is the thermo switch and what does it look like?

When leaving on a trip I stop at a state park 2hrs out of Seattle. This is where I noticed the fans were not coming on. I cleaned the ground wires and it seemed to work the whole trip.

Then last week just running the engine up to temp they again did not come on.
