So last year my Father-in-law decided to visit us at the lake. Since are old Prowler didn't have enough room for him and his new wife, they borrowed one of her brothers RV. After pulling in around supper time Friday night, we went out for dinner and then back in time for bed. The next morning we all get up for a great campground breakfast. Shortly there after my in-laws tell us their gonna go wash up before we go on the lake for the day. This is where things get Nasty. About 10 minutes later I get a knock on the door from Dave (my father-in-law) asking me to help him dump the blue boy. "No Problem" I say. After all I remember not that long ago campers teaching me the tricks of black water disposal. After getting the golf cart and supplies ready we commence to emptying his tank. But there's something wrong here. Nothing coming out.

My first question to him. "Is there anything in there?" .

Dave "Yeah it's full."

Immediately, My mind races.Last year my sewer door slide handle broke and the door stayed shut. Luckily for my it was during the de-winterization process, so there was no gray or black water in the tanks. As i walk around the camper to take a look in the toilet I ask him.

"Did you guys use this a lot on the trip here"

"No" he replies. "We didn't use it at all"

Dear God help us.

I open up the toilet lid to reveal a full tank of the most putrid smelling and fowl looking CRAP....I've ever seen.

"When was the last time anyone's used this camper?" I ask.

"Not for about 4 months" he says.

!!!WOW!!!

No back to the problem at hand.

Realizing there is a full tank of INSANE BM's, that has clogged the line. I decide to stick a twig in the pipe to see if the slide is open or closed and instead pull out the stick to find the other end covered in brown, slimy household toilet paper.

NOT GOOD

After explaining to him the way toilets work, we had two options.

UP OR DOWN?

We chose up.

After 5....YES 5 full loads in my Brand new 10 gallon Wet/Dry Vac. And plenty of Jokes from fellow campers referring to me as "THE SH*T". We finally got her unplugged.

Lesson Learned......

Just cause you practice good, CLEAN, r.v. practices doesn't mean everyone else does. ..........So never barrow anyone's camper without checking the toilet first........

lol!  I can relate to that story. Driving tour buses for years I could tell some stories too. have 55 people in a bus and find ya can't dump and change cause some goof dropped a plastic cup in there and plugged the valve!  Talk about the aroma....!!

Thats funny..my wife came home from a 2 day bus trip to New York city with my daughters friends and mothers..well on the way home she went to use the bathroom.  Yep you guessed it..it was full..since she knew almost everyone on the bus she asked who filed the toilet. Pa to new york isnt that far girls..  One woman red faced said..i poured all the 1/2 full soda pop glasses in when we got to town; didnt it just go out on the street??  my wife was laughing hystercally..NOOOO you have to dump it..at a station..

It was funny and she was almost crying laughing so hard when she told me.

Ha Ha!    sorry for the late late reply Kieth I just noticed your reply from Jan 2013!
