New member to gorv but I've posted on other forums before. I can't help but notice how the motorhome rv size is coming down towards smaller rvs - B's and C's anyway. 24 foot and under have become more popular in recent years , I'm sure cost is a driving factor in a number of ways.
It seems to me that before 1990 alot of the rvs were of that size and you needed a class A to go bigger. Now some of us appreciate what went into those older units and are restoring them to use again. And it's interesting to note how often people will come over and show admiration for what you're driving and say , "they don't make them like that anymore!".
Little do they know how true that is as the industry fumbles it's way to what used to be and the new cadre of rvers tries to cope with the new technology. The KISS method might be missing.
We restored and rebuilt our rigs and know them intimately so dealing with adversity when something goes wrong is part of the trip. We have no illusions about quality control and expectation of perfection. It's all fun and adventure!
So remember what they used to say, "RVing is fun!" and smile because maybe we do know better.
