We are looking to seel our 1972 Coachmen.
I've tried to answer and respond to this post, but my internet is so sketchy  on the road, I'm not surprised I've not been successful. We are back in Woodstock. We are selling the Coachmen, not trading any longer, we have a bigger motor-home we are pretty set on (well my wife is ;) ).
The ad my wife wrote for Craigslist is better than I can do, so below I pasted it.

1972 Coachmen Class A Motor Home - RARE!
Will email more photos to interested parties - MUST SEE
I Have 22 Photos. Or just come see!
You won't see another one of these. 1972 Coachmen is impossible to find, and with only 33K miles!
This motor home has everything you'll need for comfort away from home.
The engine is superb, and the generator charges while plugged into power. This Coachmen sleeps six adults, with 4 bunks and a pullout double bed above drivers platform.
All new floors throughout, no rust, no leaks. Everything works.
The windowed bathroom has a shower and a toilet.
The kitchen area has a window at the sink, cabinets and drawers throughout, fridge, stove-top,
counter-space and toaster oven.
Lots of windows make this bright and cheery, curtains and blinds on all windows as well.
The water pump is brand new, and floors are linoleum and hardwood - no carpet!
Class A Coachmen have an entrance door on right (passenger-side), behind passenger chair.
There are two captains chairs on driving platform.
There is a custom sound system that comes with this camper - making it perfect
for parties, beach nights, and backyard fun too!

POSITIVES:
It's rareness is a conversation in it's self
BRAND NEW gas tank & tank supports - 70 gallons!
It runs like a top
Outlets for plugging in TV's, and other appliances
A hot shower in the middle of nowhere
Rust-free where it counts, some spots on from bumper - see photos.
Bike/luggage rack just added in rear.
Storage on outside as well- like a Greyhound bus!!

NEGATIVES:
No seat-belts - but don't worry, it's a '72, it's legal without them.
No riding in the back when in motion.

MAKE ME AN OFFER!
me again::
Generator charges batteries and runs a very long time. I have renovated this camper to modern times without disturbing it's original character.

We are asking $3000. obo and are in Woodstock CT right now. Everything in tip top shape. Just so cramped for so many of us. We talked to RV hall of fame, bit they wanted us to donate not to purchase. Cannot afford that. If you are interested please call. 774 452 5412. I've not seen another camper like ours, and never in this condition. We are a sad it's too small which is why we held onto her all this time.
