Strategies for fixing hail damage?
Our '69 Avalon is mostly in very good shape. One challenge is that the passenger side and rear were hit with hail some time ago and the sheet metal is pocked with dimples.
I've considered getting a dent removing tool and working each and every one, but it seems like it would be an internity of work and in the end, the surface would still be scarred and uneven.
Has anyone gone the other route and taken a ball-peen hammer to the entire exterior, creating an overall hammered pattern across the entire trailer?
Would that look wierd, or could it be cool? Our paint scheme wil be pretty conservative.
Any thoughts or advice?
