I do not see any tech talk discussions on here so I'm starting one. IF there is a similar feed on here, just link me to it and I will combine them.

So, lets discuss what components we are all using in Q1 2020. There are amazing detailed reports available at RVmobileInternet.com so go there for specifics. This post is to report exactly what combinations we are all using and to share our results and price sources etc.

I am currently switching to an ALL cellular based solution so I will update this post with what I buy and am testing soon. My video updates can be seen at: https://www.youtube.com/c/TimFrentz

Cell Phones:

Samsung s8+

Service Providers:

Cell Antenna's & Boosters:

Still reading reviews and shopping for the best Band 71 booster for my rural location

Hot Spots: (for constant signal for our smart security/climate control/media streaming devices.)

I'm starting a new build and will be ready for this in May

Hot Spot Antenna's:
$40 NetGear MIMO

Review Comments:

With TMobile and Sprint joining networks with the band 71 frequency for rural users I expect great data speeds to follow me around camping areas. In East Texas at Lake Hawkins, it is connecting on the hill tops very well. It is a bit spotty during weather but I'm hoping I pick out the right booster for the job soon.
