Hello people,
I have Forest River SHASTA 18 1971. It is my father’s trailer. I want to remodel the current fixtures for the LED light. I know it helps to save the energy and not to drain the battery so much. Who can offer any affordable solution. Also, what do you use for the outdoor light?

I was lucky on our MH,Ii was able to get LED 1156 bulbs to just swap out and retain the old fixtures,  Most everything I do with it I am trying to retain the original feel and look,  Will not be totally possible, but I will do the best I can.

Thanks Russ Johnson for your reply. Maybe I will leave the fixture and change only the bulbs. I browsed the Ebay. I think I will try something cheap.
Regarding the outdoor light I really hesitate. It seems like it will be problematically to install new LEDs in my current fixture there. I found this option https://www.mrosupply.com/lighting/lighting-fixtures/sensor-light-f...
It goes with the fixture. However, I hesitate about the voltage. Can it be installed for rv?

Yes it can be installed in your RV, Christopher, however you will have to run new wiring for 120 volt because the current wiring is tied into the trailer's 12 volt system.  If you are going to have the entire inside gutted then this will not be a problem, but if not, then you are probably not going to be able to run new wiring so you can tie into the trailer's 120 volt system.

Here are a couple of 12 volt motion detector lights I found on Amazon:

12 volt Exterior Motion Detector Light

12 volt Exterior Motion Detector Light #2

I think this would be a better way to go as they are flatter and more compact for less wind resistance and less chance of catching on something, like a tree limb, and being ripped off.
