Vintage...looking...Tail lights

Hello All,

We have a '72 Newell Coach with some very dim tail lights.  My wife sometimes follows behind the coach and complains that it is hard to tell when I'm braking.  Currently have surface mounted lights on her and would prefer not to cut into the aluminum but will for the right lights.

Can anyone suggest some tail lights that are bright enough for daytime driving but still have a vintage look?

usually theres a brighter bulb that will fit.halogen maybe?ive found that the led bulbs aren't as bright as they imply.also it could be a ground problem.id try running a wire from the tow vehicle to the trailer to see if that helps.
