What paint to use

I have a 1979 Fan Mini Cruiser that I need to paint due to the PO not keeping the sides clean. 

My question is do I use Auto paint or is there something better for longevity of the outside as far as looks go.

I don't think I need to tell you how hard it is to find a campground that is antique friendly and If an older rv doesn't look New they don't want us to stay Long term.

I use my rv for traveling work which means I can be someplace for up to a year so I need a good easy way to make it look newer for a. Long period of time with minimal care.

I purchased this rv purposely as I prefer older vehicles as they are usually more reliable and easier to maintain mechanically.

I guess it would depend on the surface it would be applied to.  If it's steel, auto paint... prime, base coat color, clear coat.  But that won't be cheap.  I've seen on Youtube where people are using Rustoleum in the can to paint their rigs they look pretty good when done  But the colors are few...
