I am making progress with my early 60s Shasta compact, but I need help.  Does anyone know if there is a supplier for the wooden piece that go over the top of the wheel well.  These are the piece that follow the profile of the wheel well.  The exterior metal skin attaches to these wooden pieces.  The exterior side walls attach to them as well.

Thank you.

could just get wheel wells made up out of sheet metal by a heating and air guy.

Thank you for your reply.  To clarify, I am talking about the wooden piece that go around the outside of the wheel well.  They are part of the wooden exterior frame.  They are not made of metal, but of wood.

If you have a couple old ones to template from you could have them made at say, a high school wood shop class or find a cabinet maker to frame it for you. I would be very suprised if you could find the OEM parts. An other Idea would be go to lowe's or other lumber co. that sells deck kits. pick up some treated rail stays. most are 1-3/4" x 1-3/4" treated wood. hope this helps
