Hi

I am getting ready to paint my camper. I want to take out my windows and then paint the camper/ clean the windows my question is how to reseal the windows when I am done painting and what to use? I really would like anyone's input on this.

I also thought there was a restoration site that had how to video's on this and other topics I want to say that it was canned ham productions or something like that. I thought there was link for this on the site at one time and now I can't find it :( I really loved it.

thanks again

When re-installing the windows, use putty tape. It goes on the window flange. I use a small pick to line up the holes. Putty tape is available at most RV stores. The newer style is butyl putty tape, it's whitish in color rather than the old standard grey. 3/4" x 1/8" should be fine; add a little strip if you have a pattern in your siding. Any low spot should be double puttied. You should not need any other sealant if the install is done properly.  VK
thank you,  I hope this will cooperate with the wisconsin weather!!!
How are you and Daisy doing? Get some awsome from the dollar store using a generouse amount spray on use a sos pad they should cme out nice. Look at your operaters now is the time to change them while you have them apart. Linda
