Had a nice call with the Born Free factory about our vintage 1989 Born Free RV. Passing along some improvements they say they see pre-owned RV owners do:
Replacing tile backsplash on walls around sink and stove.
Replacing carpet (no brainer), and some elect to update the upholstery (ours is still in great shape).
Upgrading power converter
Retrofitting original TV stand/corner to accommodate HD size screens (vs. small standard def tv), or retiling to make another surface for drinks or entertaining.
DO NOT replace or paint the original cabinetry. It is oak and it holds the resale value if you leave as is.
Hope this helps another vintage BF owner in the future. Happy travels!
