Ray, the black box up top is an am/fm/cassette player lol with a record button. Then we have a few other doodads up there from back in the 1900's. I think it's a cb signal booster and a vacuum Guage on the dash next to a electronic engine monitor. I just found out the fridge works!! I've got LP coming today to try out the rest of the appliances. Tell that Rain to come down and visit us will ya.
Here are the only photos I have at this time. As mentioned, I called the owner and he said he'd take $6500 and throw in a Dodge van he claims has a working (?) 318-V8 and transmission as a donor. I'll be back where it is at the end of next week and plan to 1) call him and arrange to take a much closer look / inspection of it to include under-chassis, body, roof and interior and 2) make him an offer which I hope we can come to an agreement upon albeit I have no interest in taking his Dodge van with the motor/trans as I'd prefer to buy a rebuilt set up that is correct for the M300 chassis (manifolds, etc). Not sure how many miles are on it so the suspension system will be another consideration as would be steering system and the brakes as well as the electrical including generator and fridge. Like I said, I'm thinking $4k is a reasonable offer given that it will need a fair amount of work. One thing that did catch my eye is all the glass appears to be intact, as well as the polished stainless side body panels (not painted over). Attached are the only photos I have of it at this time...Happy 4th. RickIMG_0147.JPG
