    I have had little luck doing anything with a radiator that has problems. I have tried additives but, they end up greatly shortening the life of the radiator but may buy you a little time. If its a fan issue at idle. I would get an electric fan. They kick on via temp sensor switch. But, since the vehicle was designed with a standard fan, if that is not working, a fan change is a band aid at best. I have as you know a highly modified 454 that now a 496. Over heating is not an issue and I think we are both on a P 30 platform.

     not much of a techy on computer, still figuring out how to use this site. 1989 allegro on John Deer chassis. all new pads and master cyl. has brakes at low speed one time then fade away. hydro boost 2 with electric assist
