Looking at a 99 Georgie boy cruise master with 71000 mi new tires newt vs original owner .they are asking 15,800 .Does that sound good or a walk away. Norm
Having tools and spare parts is great if one has the ability, or should I say capability, to render such repairs. Unfortunately, I know how to make the repairs, but my body will not cooperate, I walk with a cane on good days, and a walker on my bad days. IF I get on the ground, it takes me several attempts to get vertical again. I agree that having parts to render repairs beats waiting for tow trucks and paying mechanics to do stuff I know how to do, but at this point in my life, that is just not feasible.
I was suggesting that we take up a collection to rebuild his camper. GlennL marine has a few cool camper plans if he wanted to utilize the existing trailer frame and build a new one. That's nice he found out about a Vintage Shasta, I hope it works well for him.
Wow. You know it's bad enough having a occurrence,,, then to have to be subjected to more expenses in addition to the loss. My vehicle fire the insurance company looked at me like I was crazy. Then she turns around and tells me she wants the new cost replacement prices and to price it out and to find what receipts I had left. Moral of the story,,, don't keep receipts in your investments. And make duplicate copies of your investment in projects. And they paid... and lowered my INS. rates. If your brother needs a hand let me know Jim. I like that name The Dutchman. Very cool.
