Yeah it's a challenge. We park in the area behind the motorhome - it's pretty solid dirt and gravel. It slopes pretty good toward the driveway so the motorhome's gas tank bottoms out (only did that once). I have to air up the bags and carefully maneuver it where it is now. That's a temporary spot because I have friends living in it for a few days. Then I tuck it back in there by the trees. That tree right in the middle of the motorhome prevents me from being able to swing it in, so it's an XYZ turn as you say. And notice the drop-off to the narrow drive. Good times.
You sure were not exaggerating on the tight parking spot! DAMN! I would be planning on cutting out some lawn and expanding the parking area. Preferably in line with the driveway and with room for at least a tight X turn.
