Camper sits in driveway with typical winter prep. Our old camper had twin hot water tanks, one gas,one electric hooked in tandem with no by-pass so it took fifteen gallons of antifreeze to set up for winter! this one takes about three with the by-pass.
Last year we stuck dryer sheets in every nook and cranny cabinet etc. and absolutely no sign of mice in the spring.
The first time we can say that so we will continue to use that method.
The previous owners of our old Dodge class A had used moth balls and it took two years to get the smell out after we bought it.
We run a cord to a trickle battery tender and another one back up to house from the generator for when we lose power.
We have a small cape the heats pretty easily so we go through about one and a quarter tanks of oil and about a cord and a half of wood every year. At least the wood is free other than me having to cut and split it.
