i remember these when new. the 2 most common makes were southwind and pace arrow. over the years, the crew and I noticed the pace arrows held up much better. check for exhaust manifold gaskets. GM just left them out on a lot of these 454's.

Thanks.  It's an oldie but one of the good ones in terms of structure with the welded tube frames and the laminated roof, sidewalls and floors.  We did a short shakedown cruise to a local state park.  Had some minor fix ups to solve a fuel system problem and blown fuse for the horn and 12v power point circuit (old cigaret lighter socket).  The engine temp is holding fine but the weather has been remarkably cool (lows in the 40's).  Ready to hit the road for home tomorrow at a leisurely pace for the old girl ( the wife calls it "Goldie" as in golden oldie).

Lots of little issues from a 5 year storage of the RV snowballed into a three week repair saga.  Launch window is May 29 - 30, 2015 all things being functional and it passes our final safety check.
