In-laws Motorhome Remodel
My in-laws loved what we had done with our motorhome and decided(with the help of my wife and I) to bring there 1986 Winnebago Itasca back to life with a much more modern feel. They have currently removed all the carpet in the drivers are and replaced it with a more modern neutral color carpet. The carpet in the entire living area was also removed, but was replaced with a maple color laminate with a little granite tile in the bathroom. My wife and mother-in-law have removed all the original window shades and curtains and replaced them with mini blinds. The original headliner material that was on the ceiling was sagging in many places, so it was removed and replaced with a bright white vinyl with oak strips to hide the seams. The toilet in the bathroom was replaced with a new porcelin bowl toilet. Hopefully by this time next year there will be be new granite counter tops to match the existing granite in the bathroom. Let me know what you think of our progress so far and please feel free to pass on ideas for some possible future projects.
