Oops, the roof itself is aluminum. That should help. LOL

Can anyone tell me what this material is? It appears to be the original layer on the roof, and on top of the foil looking stuff was a fiber roof coating, and then on top of that another roof coating that weathered and started peeling off. The original had a paper like on the first, then a black layer of something rubberish, and then another layer of that with a foil kind of backing.
Thanks if you can clue me on this! I need to some major repairs and hope to replace what I had to take off.
