Hi Valerie, thanks for your comment. Our RV rolled off the production line and was first registered back in 1980.

Kevin, your RV is beautiful. What year is it?

Wow! Those of us who grew up and live out here on the (drought plagued) left coast really don't understand the effects of rust. My work van is an original  '86 Chevy van, and I don't think there is a spot of rust anywhere. Our curse is smog laws.

And compared to my 1948 Spartanett, 1954 Clipper, and '68 Cortez, you do indeed have a modern RV. Good luck and happy camping with the family.

Thanks Bruce. I love that you called it a MODERN "C class", thanks. Its 34 years old and belonged to my folks for at least 20 years. They gave it to me back in 2012 and I am determined to bring it back to servicable condition and use it with my own family. The front rotted away due to rust. The chassis is good, but the firewall, floors, fenders & doors all rotted out. I tried to fix them but soon realized it would be easier to just find a donor van and swop the cabs. So that's what I did.

Nobody understands why I put the time and money into the things I do. I always say different strokes for different folks. You did a fantastic job, but why a modern class C. I couldn't tell from the pictures but was the front totaled?
