Got 1st batch of micro back up video cameras to replace on the 5th wheel and both trucks.

With the NEW cameras,, (which are way smaller in size then previous cameras). I am using Hard wired cameras for the trucks, Directly plugged into a port on the video screen. On the 5th wheel and pup trailer, I'm using the same cameras with optional wireless adapter. and the receiver end of the adapter will be plugged into 4 way video splitter then into video monitor. I have used wireless cameras before on all 6 cameras, and the main issue with full wireless in cross signals from each camera, resulting in interference and snow lines. With the truck being hard wired and the trailer being wireless,, that problem went away.
These mini, *hard wire cameras were purchased through Ebay, a vendor out of California for $6.48 ea. The wireless adapter was $4.99. They have lic. plate mounted wireless cameras with a small 4.6 video screen for $12. The only draw back to using the lic. plate mounted camera was that RV trailers have the lic. plate mounted to one side of the back of the trailer, very rarely dead center. My cameras, are going to be mounted on each back corner of the 5th wheel, with 2 more mounted under the front 2 corners of the 5th facing back towards the wheels under neath,, to be able to monitor all 4 tires and suspension. On the pup trailer,, one camera will be mounted on the very back on the top,, and one mounted on the front, zero'ed in on the hitch assembly.
With having the 2 back facing cameras on the 5th, I will be able to keep an eye on the pup trailer,, as it is only 4 foot wide and the 5th being 8 feet wide.(will be able to see the pup trailer and traffic behind it. The 2 cameras on the truck , one will be mounted under the rear bumper and one mounted on the head ache rack. The one on the head ache rack will show the hitch assembly in the bed of the truck.
Wireless cameras can get goofy if your in a busy city with multiple radio/tv stations and the occasional pre 1980's vehicles, with point ignitions.
Have only one instance while backing up, that I received a signal from someone elses wireless camera,, but only lasted a couple seconds.
