I would rivet it back on. Drill 1/8" holes through the door and the hinge that appears to still be attached to the trailer. Then I'd use 1/8" aluminum rivets to secure the door back to the trailer. If it were mine I would drill out the steel (rusted) rivets around the outside of the compartment and replace with aluminum rivets that will not rust.

Does anyone know if a DIY fix for re-attaching this door? Used duct tape all summer last year and would like to do something more classy but without taking it to a professional :) Thank you!
