Almost done with instrumentation upgrades on the '87 Allegro. One more gauge to go on the far left. Deciding on an outside temp gauge, clock or working compass.

All of the factory gauges work - I don't have the key on. I have it turned to accessory to fire up the air pump. And yes, the pressure gauge is for the air ride suspension. The switch to the left of the air gauge is the fog lights. The digital clock still works but is flashing because I haven't set it - the camera must have caught it when it was off. The thing to the left of the genny start/stop switch is a voltmeter for the house batteries (that doesn't work). To the right if it is a cigar lighter. To the right of that is the emergency start that you helped me identify (can't see it because of the steering wheel in my pic).

Jim,

Looks like your voltmeter gauge on the original cluster doesn't work. Mine had only the original P30 cluster, radio and that non-working digital clock above it. I take it your 'pressure' gauge is for the air ride suspension. Curious about the toggle switch all the way to the left and I have that metal plate next to the Onan genset switch. Mine is missing the button. What does that go to?

So did yours come with a non-functioning temp gauge as well? Here's mine.

The trans temp gauge was an effort to install the sender.

Check out the post of the install at : TheLongHauler

I posted pics of the installation work. I wound up ordering a VDO clock vs. the outside temp gauge at nearly 3x the price. I can use a digital indoor/outdoor one in place of the busted clock above the radio.

That's just like mine, too. I put a temp gauge where your top right gauge is. Down on the left the previous owner installed an air pressure gauge and a trans temp gauge (that was never hooked up). I plan to get the latter working this season - I bought the sender for it.

Thanks! I just ran across one of those on demand type units on the Camping World site. I'd be interested in how you make out with that install. The PO replaced mine with a conventional one so it's only a couple of years old. Still need to fix the furnace. That will be the next project.
