You wanna hear something funny, that old plastic toilet had a pop out hole cover on top about the size of a half dollar. You had to remove that cover to get to one of the nuts holding the toilet down by using an extension and socket. Well I had a hard time trying to get the socket on because it was hard to see the bolt with the extension in the hole, well I decided to back out and when I did that damn socket hit the edge of that hole and stayed inside. That was a 3/8" drive socket and the only other socket I had of the same size was a 1/2" drive......thank God for ingenuity and duct tape. I used the same extension and used plenty of duct tape to put the socket on the end of that extension....good thing that that nut being rusted and all was able to come off without any degree of difficulty. But I tell you what, I sure was cussing up a storm when that socket fell in......True Story.

Ahhhhhh, The Porcelain toilet,, it don;t get no better then that,, It also sounds more important telling friends and family that the ideas come to you apon the porcelain throne,, saying the plastic throne,, just doesnt have the same punch value.

Identical to our Long Hauler 1! We had the '77. Yours looks to be in much better shape than ours was before I left her in FL...
