I'll probably spend a couple of nights in the lil Wildcat when I start repairing wood rot.... don't really want to hang out in here while epoxy is curing. 

So far a furniture goes, I carry a measuring tape in my pocket!  That way, when I see something interesting, I measure to make sure it will fit throng the door;)  I've seen so many things I liked, but were just a tad to big.  I haven't decided if I'm going to replace or re-upholster the Capt & Co-Pilot seats. Everything else is outa here.  Still undecided about the cabinets.... but I think they may be going too.  Yes, a blank canvas will most definitely help in the decision making. Still have all winter to get the details ironed out.  When all is done, it will be road trip time for sure!  

Keep the campfire burning because a GORV Gathering sounds good!

TELL ME about the experience of renovating a rig while you're living in it! LOL Yet another way to learn the discipline of patience. Best of luck on the renovation...I'm excited about seeing pics.

My next step is to remove the bolted-down furniture from the living room, install the vinyl plank flooring, re-route a heating duct, then seal the edges of the floor with silicone, and install trim. I won't go back in with the old furniture. I am uncertain about what furniture I'll buy but, when I finish the floor, I'll have a blank canvas, which ought to help.

I'd absolutely LOVE the opportunity to get a few GORV members together for a campout. It would be fun meeting folks who have so much in common.

I would like to mention that while restoring the MGB Roadster, I was living in a sticks n bricks house, taking my time and took me about 15 yrs! ....What I'm doing now is designing my living space while living in it!  

Necessities First, then the fun stuff!

All work, but a Dream is a Dream and to make a Dream come true, takes work.... lots o work!

Ahhhhhh yes I can smell the eastern red cedar now!

Keeps away nasty lil critters, naturally water resistant, handsome wood that smells sooooooo good! So glad i didn't buy that carpet I fell in love with!.... It would have cost more to do the carpet I fell in love with, than the Red Cedar!  

Of corse the red cedar is much more work, but Boy Howdy!  

I'll have some before, during and after pic's for sure;) 

Wish me luck, this is my biggest project ever! (hope it doesn't take as long as the split year 66/67 MGB Roadster I restored!!!!!  but that's another story.... lol)

If ever your way, how bout doin a lil picking n grinnin by the fire;)

I've not replaced it yet & probably won't until spring.... 

I decided to do the whole interior with cedar & while everything is removed, I will have all the electric, plumbing, this n that stuff checked and updated.... then maybe I'll find a nice furnace on sale in the spring:)   Till then, my lil antique electric heater will have to do;)

Did you ever get your furnace rebuilt? I had mine rebuilt a month or so ago.

This summer RB got a new Air Conditioner, hot water heater & converter. Also replaced both fuse blocks under the hood which solved many annoying electrical problems! This move saved me from having to buy a new fridge and finally allowed me to start my generator first try, every try!

 Now it's time for a furnace.  The one that's in here I tried to start once but never started.

After researching this particular model, I found that it was notorious for starting fires so I never tried again. 

I've been using an awesome antique electric heater through several winters, but think it's finally time to replace the furnace. (guess I should install the extend a stay I bought too)

Oh yes, there is always something to do;)

I just figure if you take care of it, it will take care of you!

That minor stuff is continual -- but you'd be having regular maintenance issues in a sticks and bricks house. At least that's my opinion.
