Well, I just commented about my 'wreck' about 5 years ago... We had purchased a 22 ft. trailer to pull with our SUV... (our neighbor waited until AFTER the fact to tell us 'well, I KNEW you'd have…Continue

I am just getting the old girl ready to roll-all the burners work-but um... how do I light the oven?  Any ideas (that don't include blowing myself up)?  Thanks!Barb GContinue

Six years ago, my life took a dramatic swerve. After being 'head-butted' by my daughter's horse (17+ hands) I have lived with a double moderate TBI (traumatic brain injury). The little trailer will be my 'cave away from home' to recoup from that outside world...

Mom to 4, granny to 2 (with 2 more on the way!) and owner of Glory Ridge Farm, I do keep busy... Raising Pack Llamas and keeping my little part of the world together... that is my life!

Gatherings and trailer envy!

Hey all!

We found our 1969 Aladdin earlier in the summer--so it is fairly new to us. We have had trailers before, but this is the oldest and the smallest. I am LOVING IT!

Of course, I do have ENVY of the total restorations seen in so many trailers here... and some wishes that this one was 2 ft. longer (restroom envy). We were able to do the initial cleanup, some painting, and must have rehabs...but it still is not as gorgeous as some here! ***envy-big…

Love what you have done with camper!!!!  Just would like to know, do you have toilet/shower unit in this trailer?  I have one similar with major water leak under toilet.  I can not find any access to toilet pipes.  Shower pipes run inside closet - but they are not leaking.  Any suggestions where to look for access panel?  Any info would be appreciate.  Thanks, and please reply to brucehodgins54@yahoo.ca

Oh, by the way, I went back & looked @ my comment, if you copy/paste the entire web address into your browser, you should be able to get to the sites I sent - it looks like the whole web address does not appear as a link - so it's "manual" labor, which, if you own a vintage trailer, is something you're not a stranger to! HaHa.

Thanks for the kind words!
The group is on Facebook, it's "Rollin' Oldies Vintage Trailers." If you're not on Facebook, just join (it's easy http://www.facebook.com ) & the links should work for you.
Your Aladdin is FAB! There were at least 2 @ the rally last weekend, fun to see.
You are so close to the "epicenter" of this group, I'd recommend joining FB just to make contacts with the group & other owners, even if you don't want to "Facebook" too much.
