- We have always loved camping. Years ago, we had an RV. It was my job to plan the trip... how far could we get with the time off we had! Even after our divorce, I still loved to camp. Invested in a couple of tents, which I HATED! Took more time away from the fun setting up and breaking down. Recently, my oldest son went to Marines basic training in Paris Island, SC. I bought a 1988 Coleman Catalina the day before he called and said he was being sent home because the military cut spending for education.I bought it t travel around to visit him! It needs work, engine and all the components work wonderfully. Only 45K miles. Water damage. Going to fix it myself!Wish me luck!
