My thoughts on the GoRV Site

What really is unique here is the diversity of folks and their rigs... from authentic restored (or in process of restoring) first-gen bumper pulls and coaches to first-gen conversions (school bus into elegant motorhome type), to  the ones who start with a blank sheet of paper and build their own "right" rig to simply taking a production piece and trying to update and refresh it for another round of service.  They are all great!

Sure we all must enjoy camping, traveling, boondocking,…

Floor Coating

(not affiliated, commissioned, etc)

If you're curious - the brand is Armor Garage.  They build a good case why their product is better than the rest.  I am also using their roof sealant as well.  I'll post pics when I get that done.

The logic - I wanted a "once and done" floor coating that is resistant to harsh service (as in RV), and easy to clean and maintain.  Also, will add to the structural integrity of 27 year old flooring - yet not add much weight and still be flexible…

Movin on (2) - abridged

(I never kept a log or many pics when renovating anything before - now I wish I had on a couple of projects - so I'm trying to do that with this one and see how it comes out.)

Finished pulling up all old carpet and cheesy linoleum rolled flooring - not even the cushy stuff...

I used auto carpet and upholstery cleaner on my barrel chairs when I removed them to get at the floor. Seemed to make a noticable difference.

(Salvaged parts of a prior post restored…

sorrry for late reply.   Don't get on the computer too much.   I love the pic of our dog.  I just put my Onyx to sleep after she had a stroke in the middle of the night.  She was 13 and amazing.   I'm still workin on the camper.  Little by little.  Thanks for dropping me a note.  Take care. mark

Thank you Stu. We are so excited to have our first Scotty. We plan to take a short trip to one of the islands and then a quick trip to visit one of the kids before we overhaul this camper.

Thanks for the message Stu, yep, my windshields are curved.  I am having a frustrating week looking...thought I had it figured out but then it fell through.
Safelight quoted me a windshield for a C series Ford cabover truck (which have been suggested to be the same shields), but then I talked to an RV guy in IN and told him the part numbers Safelite quoted started with a "DW" and he said those are "non NAG" part numbers, not meant for RVs.....Grrrrr, I'll get there eventually I hope.  Any information is appreciated!  The rest of her is in great shape!

Thanks for the friend request Stu.  I received it last Friday but we were out sporting around the country in our RV.  Just got home about an hour ago.  We had one minor problem with the generator, Turned out to be water in the carb.  My nephew in Oklahoma, being a mechanic and welder, was very familiar with the Onan generator and he had it repaired and tuned in no time at all.  We are real satisfied with everything except gas prices.

Thanks Stu!  It's inspiring to connect with other like-minded folks like yourself!

We will have "The Music Ship", as we've affectionately referred to it...   will go on it's maiden voyage on The 4th of July.  Some friends are having a BIG JAM at a private campground, so we will break in the new ride with a festival of peace, love & music!

Hopefully, our paths will cross someday soon!

Who are some of your biggest influences when it comes to musicians and bands?
