VR3 reverse camera question.

I have just fitted a VR3 rear licence plate mounted reverse camera to the motorhome along with a pair of brand new rear lamps. The lamps I bought are slightly different, one has a single wire for the back up lamp, the other has two ( according to wiring you join them up, which makes sense). Both lamps use an earthing strip between the two lamp bodies. I have wired the camera up, red to positive from back up bulb holder ( the one with two wires) and the earth to the rear lamp earth. With ignition…See More

As the old Dodge has had several different coats of paint over the years I'd really like to give it a bit of a makeover in the Spring. At the moment its painted all white, unfortunately a different white to the cab.Just wondered what options I had as to paint type/brand etc. I have tried using a Hammerite product sold here in the UK but its too thick and not nice to brush on.Any suggestions???Plus any suggestions as to paint schemes, only thing breaking up the white at the moment is the blue…See More

Good-a picture will help. You may be able to adapt a battery holder from something else. I'm not sure a 1974 part will be available even in a junk yard...wouldn't hurt to look, tho. I don't remember seeing a battery operated sparker on an RV fridge. I do have a battery run glow plug on my kerosene heater. Thanks, VK

Hi Dean, I need a litttle more info on your fridge. What year is it? Do you have a photo of the area that needs a cover? Is it a cover with the spark plug like fitting or a little box with connectors? You might be able to make a sliding cover to lit it manually. It would take two people to light it. VK
