Hi Glynda! I agree that the older RV's were not built for modern TV's. A previous owner built (or had built) a small TV stand which sits on top of the engine box (between the front seats). This is probably near the location the manufacturer intended because the power and antenna connection is passenger side under the dash. It is a convenient spot and the TV is easily visible from the galley. I wish I had a more permanent spot for the TV, but modern flatscreens are lightweight and easy enough to stow behind the passenger seat while driving.

I would love to see pics of your rig. Although I have a long history with RV's, this is my first fulltime adventure. After six months I still absolutely love the lifestyle and still swear I will never return to a sticks and bricks home.
