Ford 400M,,, one word.,"MOTORHEADS,,
Should see some of the engine builds going on in the GT40's. Some actually have Vintage RV's with the same packages in those circles.
Looks like a bunch work Jay, glad I'm not the only one doing a restore like this. Should be nice when done.
Hi jay .If it were something I would build. Id use 351 w. You could get a fuel injected motor & a AOD trans out an mid 90's ford van .The AOD trans will give you overdrive for better mpg . As for building a ford vs chevy the price isn't that big. You can buy full kit at northern auto parts.
WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK AND SUCCESS
HOW EVER YOUR FREE DAYS ARE OVER
TRY TO GET AS NEW REPLACEMENT PARTS AS YOU CAN IT WILL PAY OFF IN THE LONG RUN
TRUST ME I AM TALKING FROM EXPERENCE THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A BREAK DOWN ON THE ROAD BECAUSE YOU SAVED A FEW DOLLARS ON A PART THAT COULD HAVE BEEN NEW
I HAVE A COUPLE OF 30 YEAR OLD RV STOVES IF THEY WOULD HELP
BETWEEN THE TOW IM SURE YUO WOULD HAVE A GOOD ONE
BEST OF LUCK
HARWOOD
