MARRIED WITH TWO CHILDREN SON IS 27 DAUGHTER IS 22 I'M 55 AND STILL WORKING WIFE & I HAVE BEEN CAMPING IN A TEARDROP TRAILER FOR LAST FOUR YEARS THIS YEAR I BOUGHT A 1961 LINCRAFT CAMPER IT IS 12' I HAVE RESTORED IT AND IN OCT. WE TOOK IT TO COLORADO FOR 10 DAYS.
Hi Ric, I was happy to find that you have a Lincraft Camper. I purchased a 1963 Lincraft last August and have been busy sewing curtains and making the cushions, etc. There is a lot of water damage to the inside which we will work on this winter. The front and door were damaged somehow by the previous owner and we plan to work on that this winter too. I have posted pictures on here if you are interested. I tried to find information about these campers, but there doesn't seem to be anything documented. Your Lincraft looks great.
Yes sir I sure did read your comments. I honestly think if you can make a pattern and instructions for your teardrop you can sell the plans. I have tons of websites for teardrops but I really haven't found any that I really like.
The one that comes closest however is Camp-Inns 560 Ultra.
Ric, I'm looking into purchasing a 62 Lincraft (if someone else doesn't get it first while I'm researching). Do you have any photos of the inside of yours? How extensive was your renovation? Any advice?
Ric~ Thanks for the info! Both of your campers are so cute! I hope we can make ours look half as good as yours. Colorado is a wonderful place for camping.....actually any outdoors activity. Gotta love it! Today we had sunshine and 50, then a quick snowstorm, and now sunny and 65!
