- I have a 1978 King's Highway 27" Class A that I have just bought and am 'updating' :). Its been sitting for over a year. It's in amazing shape for being so old, no ceiling leaks, everything is original (classis brown and tan :), no infestations of critters, only one area behind drivers seat is there signs of leakage...plugged in the external power, turned on the 8-track and plugged in an Eagles song...it was rough listening, but a classic moment. I plan on spending a few months getting to know my new home while replacing some of the wiring, and redoing the interior to be much more space efficient. I will be living in it 24/7 soon. Tons of questions...some of them probably very naïve. I found this site while researching my chassis make and model by Dodge to understand plumbing configuration. I think it's an M-300. Also, my intention is to create a "living off the grid" home, solar panels, marine stove, etc....Would love to learn from someone who has done some or all of these things...:)
