Retired Master tachnician for GM, ex-certified welder, able to leap over very small buildings these days, lol, I've had to cease working due to medical problems and now only have ability to help out and do small projects these day. I love camping and am in the final stages of restoring a 1960 Oasis travel trailer. Its been a labor of love and excitement all at the same time. I'm hoping it will be finished before the end of the year or sooner.

Interior paint.

OK, I need to find out what type of paint is best to use in my travel trailer. The old paint that was on everything left a terrible smell when the trailer was closed up and now that I am almost ready to repaint some of the interior panels, I want something that will not leave such a rank smell after the trailer has been left closed for a while when not being used. Should I use an interior paint? Something oil based? Something for exterior ? I'm not sure where to go from here and I dont want…

Hi Bob, You sure are doing some fine restoration workmanship. So how long do you think this project is going to take to have it rolling into a camp ground? I did a 1986 Winnebago Minnie Winnie 24" motor home and it took me 2 years and 2 months to complete it.
