- My wife and I recently purchased a 1957 Playette travel trailer to restore. To date I have stripped 6 layers of paint from the last 56 years. The trailer identity was a mystery until I got down to the original layer of paint and discovered a shadow of the original logo. I could make out the Make as a PLAYETTE and the Manufacture location of Dearborn, Michigan. We have just recently gotten hooked on vintage RVs and look forward to a long relationship with the hobby.

Ron , I read your post that your restoring a 57 Playette travel trailer . I'm working on a 56 Playette . Do you have any pictures you would like to share ? I don't have any info on these campers so I'm trying to get any info I can .
