Onan is getting to be like Harley Davidson Motorcycles, you have to go through a dealer 99% of the time to get them repaired and working, plus costing you and arm and a leg and possibly your first born child.
Those gensets have been known to have their control board go out and it CAN NOT be rebuilt by the likes of Dinosaur etc so they are like $500 grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. My buddy had his ignition coil go bad on his 4000. Sure they can be worked on IFFFFFF you know what you are doing, I was decent on the nice old quiet 1800 RPM 2 cylinder Onans but that single cylinder screaming 3600 RPM so called "quiet" (Yeah right) genset is harder to diagnose grrrrrrrrrr

Dose anyone know how to work on a onan microquiet 4000 gen
