leak under tub area
1 Reply

I have a 1988 southwind 30 ft.   I have a leak somewhere in vicinity of bath tub but only a very small panel for access.  Anyone had this or know how to get to it?  Harry   (937) 845-9572 Continue

Failed to mention that you will have to take the valve handle off to pull the trim plate. Usually a screw or a set screw depending upon what valve it is.

Hate to say it but that would be a supply line on either the hot or cold to the shower valve. A drain leak would only leak when the tub is in use. Can you take some pics of the shower valve. First things first, can you pull the trim ring from the face of the valve, usually two screws. Look inside with a flash light. Can you see connections on the valve leaking? Are those connections copper pipe or pex, (plastic pipe). A picture is worth a thousand words. So if you can take pics post them and I will get you through this
