beautiful work folks, don't cha love the way the birch finishes?
Dar&Dave
Thanks for the add Jim and Penny.
You are right, only more aluminum and birch seem to cure the disease. Unfortunately, my disease has spread into steel. I just purchased a 1967 Clark Cortez. Runs and is pretty complete, but if it didn't need work, who would want it?
I have some Pennsylvanian connections, but most history is in W. Virgina. My name sake has records from the Civil War, and his mothers grandfather was in the Revolutionary War.
Hi to a possible relative. From the research I have done, it seems like we are all related somehow. It seems as though you like a "challenge" as much as I do. Sadly I have a real bad case of "aluminitius" and seem to keep getting more of these things. Just remember, all they need is unlimited time and unlimited money. Unfortunately, I have neither.
