Help, don't know if I am doing this right, but here goes. I need a Wheel Hub Seal and Shaft Gasket for a 1978 Allegro Motorhome. I can't find these parts, they all say the home it too old. I am not ready to drive it to the Junk Yard yet. Please let me know if anyone knows where I could get these parts. Thank you all so much.

I have searched everywhere for an owners manual for my just newly purchased 1982 JAMEE ll, Chevy oldie, 22 foot motor home. We are new to this and I need a lot of help figuring out how everything works electrically, Propayne, plumbing use, etc. We are in our 80s, can use all the help we can get and are willing to buy one if available. If not, does anyone know if an RV dealer might offer some tutoring based on my own unit for beginners ? Thanks, Don Novak- Beloit, Ohio

So, in mid 2014 my family kinda fell apart, and we stumbled on a 1984 Chevrolet Fireball (G30 5.7L V8)

We lived in it for a year and a half, replaced the heater and repaired it's TH400 Transmission. After that, we moved into a moral on Route 40 in Baltimore, and since then, the Chevy has sat. However, in early 2018 we replaced the battery and got it moving, where we parked it at a storage facility, where it's been, as of today. I'm worried about it's conditions, and would like to restore it. I just know little about restore an old motor home.

I can already pretty much assume that the engine is going to need a complete rebuild, I've considered price options, and who knows what would be cheaper, but I think a rebuild is a better idea, to try and keep the engine as original as possible.
Lamalighttag:goodoldrvs.ning.com,2021-01-18:2093474:BlogPost:4169902021-01-18T18:40:21.000ZLinda Lee Toepferhttps://goodoldrvs.ning.com/profile/LindaLeeToepfer

Hidden between the propane tank and the frame, I find the bugger... finally.

Not only do I find the filter, but I find a kink in the steel hose which was apparently caused when someone moved the propane tank to access the filter. This is why this rig was crapping out on the hills. Guaranteed.

Wonder how long the last owners put up with that??
Monitor Transmission Statetag:goodoldrvs.ning.com,2020-04-10:2093474:BlogPost:3562922020-04-10T06:21:01.000ZDon Olsonhttps://goodoldrvs.ning.com/profile/DonOlson

I have an atwood hydro flame heater in my 84 shasta class c motorhome. I had an issue with the heater and had to remove if from the camper. The exhaust tube was destroyed with removal.
Have a older 16' Layton camper. Has anyone converted their rear slide out sofa / bed to a jack knife sofa? Is a conversion kit or hardware made? OR Is there a better option?

Just purchased a 1983 Apollo 3300 DB. Frame is in great shape but a lot of work ahead. The 453 Chevy runs fantastic but some water damage inside. Cannot wait to get started and update everyone on the progress! Happy RVing everyone

So we just experienced 5 days of no electric in our home due to power shutoffs in case of fire and at the same time another big fire that came within 30 miles of us. We never used the generator before and hoped that it being 38 years old wouldn't be a problem. It worked! So thanks to our old motorhome we were ready if we had to evacuate and we suffered little with the power outage. Thank you Onan!

Has small bathroom with shower, easy to convert for toilet. Many original tiles (plastic) in bathroom and around sink area. Has the original outside paint lines and Fireball logo on front and back. Even has 2 metal M/Logo plates and paper Manufactures warranty.

Needs: New front window, 3 panels for the side window, screens, window to door, table, cushions, flooring, ceiling vent (imagine that!) and lots of sanding. External paint and a little body work. Limited costs with your labor.

I am heart broken to leave this project as these are fairly limited and unique.
