More progress

Well the CD/AM/FM I ordered came in damaged so down to Walmart I go .Did not see one like the one I ordered on the shelf but a nice lady was willing to go in the warehouse and found one for me! IT was real ugly putting that player in the dash! I don't care how easy they say the instillation is ,,it is never straight forward! But got it in and it works..the radio anyway have not tried the CD player yet.

Got Dash cover I ordered too and it fits great!

The story begins here my '66 Aristocrat

I have purchased a '66 Aristocrat Lo-Liner ST from some really nice folks from Loyalton,CA. who had started to refurbish but discontinued the process when they found a smaller aristocrat which suited their plans better. I was excited to get the unit home and start the work on my own process of repair and restoration. So far have serviced the wheel bearings,WOW looked like original grease from '66. brakes were still wired and had some life left,so have left intact for now until I rewire the…

Pround parents of a skoolie

Mary and I bought a skoolie.  We got it home and in the next seven days we got 27 inches of snow.

Yesterday finished tearing the dashborad apart

The dash of my Dodge van is in pieces! I tore it apart and repainted the whole thing. Today will attack mounting a new CD/AM?FM radio into the dash. Going to try to carpet the engine cover box . Cut and mounted the new speakers in the fronts of the bed partitions.now have to run the wiring.

Also got the 1inch by 6 inch wooden plank mounted down the center of the ceiling too just waiting for the new dome lights to arrive.  A lot of little details but it is starting to take…
