So we're going to take the motorhome out on its first real trip next week. I fired it up thinking I'd go get the propane tank filled. Since its such a beast when cold, I sat in the driveway for a good five minutes while it warmed up and then...it quit running! Apparently out of gas and the guage is apparently innacurate. I put 2 gallons in and it fired right up. Great! Now it doesn't want to go out the driveway. Is it the tranny? I got it backed up just enough to block the driveway…Continue

Vision and dream or dream and vision.
Doesn't matter which comes first what matters is how you handle the vision or the dream.
The bible has many examples of visions and dreams.
Quick glimpses, they die and then sprout.
Often while traveling this comes into play. I see my destination, a vision in the distance. Seems so close in a straight line but the road leads to a long bend or through a valley and suddenly the vision is lost but if I stay the course it appears again…

I have four solar panels, do a lot of dry camping, and wanted to replace my four old flooded lead acid 6 volt Trojan T-105's (450 Amp Hours) with AGM technology so I don't have to be constantly checking and adding water etc. etc. I went with two Renogy AGM12-200 (200 Amp Hours at 10 hr rate, 208 Amp Hours at 20 hr rate = 416 total) which I picked up at Walmart (they even loaded them for me, 129 lbs each) free shipping for $247 each. On the Renogy website they are $399 each !!!!!!!!!!! It…Continue

We need help! We just moved our 93 Innsbruck travel trailer to a piece of property. Mind you, this camper has not been moved or used in about 11 years. We are using battery power for lights, but are trying to figure out how to use propane to power the hot water heater. Any insights?? Not sure how to activate it....or even use the propane for the refrigerator or hot water heat. Any other Innsbruck owners out there with some insight??
Many Thanks, Kris in Michigan
Please bare with me, first time on a forum. I have an Alfa Gold that came with an 80 amp converter which is having problems. I no longer use the belly air or the two RV refrigerators that came with it. Is there any reason I cannot use 50 or 60 amp converter?
Thanks so much, David
Changing out a water pump on a 7.3 diesel looks intimidating to say the least,, Its just a massive beast of an engine shoved and stuffed under the hood. And with any diesel engine, everything is super extra heavy duty,, no whimpy parts there. So I tackle the job with a positive attitude.
With my poor eye sight, I apply common sense approach, a bolt, nut or screw has to hold everything in place, the trick is locating them. I first find the drain on the lower part of the radiator and get…Continue
