I'm new to RVing although I have been planning/wishing to do this for years now. On impulse I took the plunge and bought this wonderful 'lady' a 1977 Vanguard Sportsman. She's in wonderful condition considering her age, although she does have a problem common to her age and make....the truck motor will not charge the battery. I have 2 friends, both mechanics, who are checking this out, as well as everything else, to make sure she is road worthy for me. It seems the alternator is fine, so now…

While doing a little snow birding in Florida, I ran across a couple guys out on the lake where I was fishing that was camping in the same park as me.
