Boy am I tired! I had a real fun weekend in the Anza Borrego Desert, lots of good friends, lots of good food, lots of alchohol....
This was the 'After Tax' weekend, and Mother Nature took real nice care of us. The temps were great, wind was low, and a good time was had by all. I made my first (and not last) "Bacon Explosion" and it was an absoloute success. Taste was delicious, and everyone had some. There was no left-overs!… Continue

Wow. We decided to bail on the traditional Thanksgiving this year spent with all the family and go camping. The traditional TG's with us are historically great, lots of family and lots of food, we just wanted a change this year. Check out this place.... A friggin mazing. We had a spectacular time and I cant say enough about the Lilac Oaks Campground. Simple as it may be, there's a game room, club house and all what you may need (laundry/showers etc) but theres no 'store' so bring all you need… Continue

This weekend was a good one, towing the trailer with the camper on, through the mountains. Nice!
The kids, Lamont on the blue quad and Richie on the black one.

All systems worked fine, cooking and cleaning was actually NOT a… Continue

Ok so we had a real big adventure with some air bags...
My neighbor across the street brought over a set of Air Lift suspension bags and brackets of a Chevy S-10. Knowing I was looking for air bags, he gave me these hoping I could use them. A few phone calls to Air Lift and I found out the air bags were the same as the ones for my Titan, only the upper brackets were different. The bottom brackets were also the same! I bought the brackets and was in for $28 for a set of air bags for… Continue

Ok so I did 3 campgrounds on three separate weekends when we bought the camper, and I have reservations for Thanksgiving weekend at a nice campground locally, but this weekend were going to Ocotillo Wells, Homes Camp. This is a 'dry' location within a few miles of a RV/Mobile home park.
This will be the first trip of the campers true purpose, shelter and comfort for when I take my son (eventually sons) out with the ATV's Dirtbikes or the Dune Buggy. Men, horsepower, high octane fuel,… Continue
