Long time since I have been on the web sight - It's good to be back. My question is this, we are looking at a 69 American Eagle conversion coach, asking price is $75,000, 42 footer and very clean on the inside outside looks great also. Waiting for more info on engine, trans etc etc. Does anybody have more info on this rig or clubs - anything would help. Thank - You.

Well, life is short. if you've got the big bucks, have a tow company or towing insurance and have places spotted throughtout the US who will work on the engine and drive train and slideout and can find campgrounds who whill accommodate vintage rigs and 45 foot of lenght go for it!!

Duane, I would be VERY cautious buying a rig this big. And it is doubtful if you'd ever recover the asking price. Conversions usually go for a song. It is almost impossible to get them fixed while on the road and towing insurance (a must) is hard to find. This from a flxible bus conversion guy. Suggest you get opion of bus knowledgeable 3rd party.
