RV Friends & Their Neat Stuff at Fort Collins, Colorado

We met some wonderful people at the Lakeside KOA just north of Fort Collins. And, they had some neat stuff! Check out the very custom generator mount for our friends from Elko, Nevada. Perfect for any 5th wheel. Anybody know of a company that makes such a neat rear mount genny bracket? Let us know in Forums. Most 5th wheelers need one. And, the very trick recumbent (sp?) bike was customer built in Wisconsin for our other rv friends featured here. Add "neat stuff" you see that might be of interest to other good old rvers so we can all check it out! keep on going down the road. Leaving for the Lakes north of town, Fort Collins, to check out how the "New" transmission works... fingers crossed on that one! And, to gain some altitude to beat the heat. pat linda & lady dog

Hey, thanks Jim. Ya, I've gotta relocate the spare on the back of the travel trailer and I want to add a large box for "stuff" that I can just throw in every time I break camp. Nothin heavy... lawn chairs, hoses and such. Then i want to get some help fabricating a generator mount on the front of the trailer for a little honda or similar since I don't want too much weight on the back of the trailer; it tows like a dream now that I've got the loads balacend front and rear.
I'm thinkin of either a heavy duty rotomolded unit with locking lid or the typical truck tool box, but in light weight aluminum. I've got to find out if I have to add stop lights and turn signals to the unit if it projects past the rear bumper... gettin various opinions about this. Way too many "rules" for this type of stuff. hard to be an outlaw anymore. pat on the way back from daytona biker week now.

Pat, I too have seen a bunch of neat generator mounts, but I also found this useful:

You could DIY a shelf for a generator pretty easy with this one.
