Biplane Fly & RV Camp 2009 In Bartlesville, Ok

Had a wonderful day viewing over 60 Biplanes from yonder days at the 2009 Bartlesville, Oklahoma Fly In with my good friend Jeff. Jeff has actually flown some of the types of Biplanes we are looking at! Could not be a nicer setting with regular runways and grass runways, plenty of fields to park the Biplanes and fly in spectator planes. Weather was great, if a bit breezy at about 15 knots plus. RV parking for about 20 rigs right on the Bartlesville airport grounds. electric only hookups. A few full hookup rv parks only 5 miles away in the nice little town of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. This is suppossedly the last Bartlesville fly in. That is very sad since it was so well attended. We find it hard to believe that they will not hold many more fly ins here. Enjoy. pat

Wow! Those planes are awesome! I'm a student and have been flying a taildragger, but have never flown in a biplane or open cockpit. Gotta love the sound of those radial engines!

What a wonderful experience, I am glad you were able to go before they stopped them. I'm jealous!
