Well,,,,, we are full timing at last. We put our name on the list almost 2 yrs ago at the same place we have had our barge birthed and a vacancy came up. We got just the spot we had hoped for. This place is great. It's located on Lake Tawakoni in Texas. It's about 40 mins east of Dallas. It is the Cat Fishing Capital of Texas. We moved our Gulf Stream out here and got set up with a small deck, gazebo, and a storage building to handle the over-flow.  Molly Dog has already fallen into a serious routine which includes a daily dip in the lake and a ride around the marina on the golf cart to make sure the tree rats (squirrels) keep in line. Although we probably won't be spending as much time on the road, we found a great little community of people around our age.WP_20170618_10_45_19_Pro%5B1%5D.jpg

Lakota Wolf,

Happy to hear your find also. We love the community feel. This also is a privately owned marina/RV park. It is wonderful to find a group of residents who sort of watch out for each other. We don't "hang around each other all the time but we frequently meet at the small food court for breakfast three times a week. The on site "food trolly" serves breakfast and lunch Fri, Sat, & Sun. Nothing special but good inexpensive food off the grill.

Looks like you found a unique place to enjoy the so called Golden years. I'm just south of Dallas closer to Waco Tx. The wife and I relocated from a large RV Park in the country to a very small private RV park, way way out in the country. We enjoy the serenity of the quietness.
