I just bought a 26', 1969 Red Dale travel trailer from a local family.  I've been looking around online, and haven't seen another one like it anywhere - anyone know of any others? I've found a few short ones, but none this length.  No photos, yet.  I'll have some up, soon.

It's in excellent condition - the man's parents bought it new in '69, used it for three years, then kept it parked under a corrugated tin building ever since.  The outside is a bit faded, but all there and in good condition - no damage.  The inside is all wood-paneled with original upholstery and lighting fixtures.  Beautiful.  And I got an excellent deal!

I'm eager to get it ready for the road - never owned a travel trailer or RV before.

John

I have a 1969 Red Dale that is 16'.  My understanding is that yours is very rare but most of the Red Dales are very similar.  Any questions just holler - I am doing a frame off restoration on mine and and about 1/2 finished.

Hi John. I can't wait to see pictures of your Red Dale. Sounds like you found a little time capsule under that tin building! Well, if you have never owned one joining these sites it the thing to do. I am willing to bet you can find an answer, in some shape or form, to all of your questions! Excited for you!!! Happy Trails!
