I've seen 12 VDC light fixtures and 120 VAC but not BOTH. They do make 12 VDC light bulbs with the same Edison base that look like regular old screw in 120 VAC bulbs, that what you mean????

If there were such a fixture Id say it has to use 12 VDC bulbs plus have a 120 VAC to 12 VDC Converter that uses 120 VAC if present but automatically switches to 12 VDC otherwise.

If anyone finds such lights let us all know

PS I have switched to 12 VDC LED RV lights that are bright and white and use far lesssssssssss current then the old 1156 bayonet base incandescent bulbs. I just use all 12 VDC lights that run off my four house batteries but when Im plugged into shore power my Xantrex Smart Charger keeps my batteries charged so I never notice any difference.
